John Cartwright is named Damory Employee of the Year
Our annual employee awards night A Night with the Stars took place last Saturday night at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton. Hosted by Managing Director, Andrew Wickham, and Heart Breakfast South Coast DJ, Zoe Hanson, we celebrated all of our colleagues who have achieved long service with us in 2018, those who retired last year and all of our employees of the month.
We are extremely pleased to announce that the Damory Employee of the Year is John Cartwright
John joined the company in 2014 as a trainee driver but now oversees the operation of service buses and private hire coaches. He is described by colleagues as professional and dedicated - once even choosing to delay his honeymoon during a busy period at work.
Having won the quarterly award, Pride of Damory, in 2018; for their cool and calm demeanour in busy, challenging situations, it is clear to see why John was chosen. It is no mean feat to win Pride of Damory and it is the ultimate honour to be so highly praised by your management team.
In recognition of his efforts, Paul received £500 worth of vouchers and a framed certificate.
Have you had excellent customer service? Or know of a Damory employee who has gone the extra mile? You can nominate them for Pride of Damory here.
Each quarter an employee is chosen out of those nominated, the winner receives £50 worth of shopping vouchers, and an invite to the awards night A Night with the Stars.
